As Creative Partner, China, you are a pitch winner, client persuader and creative team builder. You have strong influencing prowess with clients and thrive on challenges. You have the ability to energize the team around you and inspire them to do their best work for potential and existing clients. Your role will be to build and lead a strong internal creative team, lead and win pitches, influence a positive culture and lead the creative for a variety of clients across automotive, gaming, technology and lifestyle. You’re strong at digital and social and can break-through traditional thinking with fresh, digital, innovative thinking. You can easily toggle between the big picture and the nitty-gritty and back. You’re as much of a doer as you are an inspiring leader. Pivotal to this role is a strong partnership with other discipline leads, creating an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
Pitching and winning new clients and projects for automotive, gaming, technology and lifestyle brands.
Hands-on shaping and selling groundbreaking concepts that live and breathe fully integrated campaign executions across brand, film, digital, social, tech, experiential and any other format that brings your concepts alive.
Lead the overall creative vision and creative development process across key clients and building strong creative rapport with clients
Hire, mentor and manage teams of creatives including multiple creative teams consisting of creative directors, art directors, designers, copywriters, UX/UI, etc
Ultimate accountability for the quality of all creative deliverables
Push the creative envelope, continually raising the bar on the quality of the client’s creative while delivering successful business solutions for our clients.
Keep the client’s creative “on the map” via awards, events, media, industry buzz, publishing articles, etc.
Monitor trends in the digital, marketing, design and advertising industries to stay current to position the brands as the leader in their industry and sharing this with the teams and clients
Improve accountability across creative teams through management and process improvement.
Organize creative teams with appropriate structures, teams, experience levels, diversity of skills, etc. Plan, assign, schedule and direct work together with the Ops Team
Partner with account and project management leaders to identify creative objectives and strategies
You have at least 15+ years experience as a creative leader in the industry in China
You have a proven track record of winning pitches
You have a portfolio of award-winning creative, digital, social, experiential work
You have significant experience in the automotive, technology and gaming industry
You are able to come up with industry challenging ideas, and have the ability to present them in equally compelling decks that will make clients fall in love with your thinking.
You have a track record of building strong creative teams that go above and beyond.
You have a keen understanding of the business objectives of brands and are able to quickly fathom a project’s challenges and what needs to be achieved.
You have strong client relationship build and trust in your creative prowess.
You’re experienced in engaging with C-level clients
You are confident to work and present in both English & Chinese
