临近国际慈善日,澳大利亚皇家铸币局(the Royal Australian Mint)发行了世界上第一枚“捐赠币”,旨在用于慈善事业。
不同于以往的全金设计,此次硬币的圆心处增添了一抹绿色,表面还有一层波纹状的金色浮雕,象征着每一笔捐赠都能带来积极的影响。
迄今为止,澳大利亚皇家铸币局已经铸造了350万枚,总产量将达到2500万枚——相当于每个澳大利亚人都能拥有一枚。如果他们坚持每月捐出一元,那么10年内将可以为慈善机构额外筹集30亿元。
该活动受到了广大民众的支持,他们纷纷在社交媒体发声,表示会积极参与。
对此,澳大利亚皇家铸币厂营销、销售和创新执行总经理马克卡特赖特也表示:希望每一枚“捐赠币”都可以提醒我们,其实我们是有能力帮助那些处在困境中的人,而且这种捐赠行为本身也将对我们每个人的生活产生深远影响。
