Our Shanghai office is looking for a PR professional to craft clever strategies and execute effective campaigns and initiatives that help further building the digital-first creative company image in the market.
Role & Responsibilities:
(1) Centralized branding & communication
· Draft and prepare contents for projects and campaigns to key stakeholders, as well as for media and social platforms.
· Identify and manage appropriate “vertical communities” within the network, and ensure effective sharing and contemporary learning in those communities
· Act as brand ambassador to ensure brand message and identity are accurately and consistently reflected across touchpoints to reinforce overall brand positioning
· Facilitate internal communication, events and initiatives to frost the internal culture
(2) External Reputation Building
· Create compelling and relevant content (news, stories, case studies, videos, white papers, thought pieces, best practice, etc.) to engage our target audiences (clients, peers, trade press, colleagues and talent), and that can be shared and used by across Serviceplan’s global network
· Identify key industry events (attending and speaking), Identify awards programs around world (capture, direct entries and record success, share learning and monitor competitors)
· Convert internally created work into external marketing opportunities to enhance brand reputation
· Maintain Media.Monks’ social presence (Weibo, WeiXin, homepages)
· Capture relevant opportunities like event, awards, publications and other initiatives to build Media.Monks and team for success
Requirements:
1. This role requires 3+ years of experience in the marketing and communication field, proven track of success in defining and implementing marketing strategies, and creating marketing assets.
2. Fluent in both English and Chinese, able to write at a business proficiency level.
3. An active communicator that has strong communication skills in visual, oral, and written forms, also detail oriented and hands on to get things done.
4. Good project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously and independently
5. Working experience with 4A agencies/ digital agencies is a plus, former industry editors welcomed too.
6. Experience in internal communications and events is a plus.
7. Bachelor degree or above, ideally PR, Marketing, Communication, Advertising or related field
