Overview of job 

GroupM is the leading global media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Research Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for media monitor evaluation and insight report production.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the GroupM Knowledge Director.

In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

·           Fully familiar with various research/data sources available

·           To understand GroupM’s OOH business, to build a framework on OOH insight delivery and communication plan

·           To work with the vendor, project stakeholders and media owners in an ad monitoring project

·       Other assigned insight/research report

In six months:

·           To identify possibility of optimisation in the monitoring project

·           Vendor management and project co-ordination, to oversee the operation as requested

·           To deliver quality thought leadership reports on in-depth OOH-focused content

In 12 months:

·           To improve institutional professionalism and recognition on OOH intelligence by establishment on expertise, industry exposure and involvement

What you will bring:

·           Strength in market analysis and report writing

·           An open mind, a can-do attitude willing to learn

·           Proven understanding of retrospective and prospective trend in media businesses

·           Strong analytical skills, ability to summarize and disseminate key points from datasets

 

Minimum requirements:

·           A bachelor’s degree in the filed such as advertising, media, marketing, communications, Business Analytics, Public Relations or business-related majors, international experience would be a plus

·           At least 3-year hands-on experiences in media intelligence with acumen in marketing, communication, consumer insight, ideally concentrated on OOH but not essential

·           Excellent excel/ PowerPoint and presentation skills

·           Competent in reading/writing English

·           Sharp problem solving and troubleshooting skills, strong sense of individual responsibility for tasks, results-driven and a great team player
