POSITION SUMMARY
Recruiter will oversee the day-to-day recruiting activities. He/she will believe in exceptional customer service and be a highly skilled interviewer who balances what is right for the organization while matching the needs of the candidates. The Recruiter will have a high level of integrity and be able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sourcing and direct recruiting
- Posting positions to websites and other appropriate mediums to generate resumes
- Reviewing and processing resumes
- Phone interviewing candidates and working closely with administrative staff in scheduling interviews with hiring managers
- Networking and attending professional events to market AKQA opportunities
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years professional recruiting experience required
- Strong enthusiasm for profession
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; friendly, tactful, good negotiator, ability to influence others
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work with all levels within the organization
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
- Bachelor's degree and relevant experience ideally for an internet or advertising organization. Directly related experience may be substituted for a degree.
