 As a member of the AKQA Creative Development (CRD) department you will influence changes in consumer behaviour through ideas, creativity and the use of interactive media. You will make a difference to digital communications, marketing, advertising and inspire the best global brands.

You will be responsible for testing complex interactive applications. Many of the applications will be rich WeChat campaigns using the latest web technology. General knowledge of front-end and back-end development processes and environments are essential and respecting the quality of the end-product is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

·         Develop QA plans

·         Write test scripts and cases

·         Perform functional testing, regression, accessibility, and performance testing

·         Mentor other testers

·         Organize UAT for clients

·         Track/report defects, change requests

·         Release management 

Experience

·         Experience QA in software engineering environment

·         Experience testing rich interactive web applications

·         Understanding of software testing methodologies, full development life cycle - black-box / white-box testing, agile and RUP testing techniques

·         Experience with release management and version control

·         Experience with automated testing tools

·         Excellent verbal/written communication skills

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Knowledge of Flash and Java/.NET web applications

·         Interactive Agency experience is a plus

·         Creative background is a plus
