Senior Digital Designer

Karla Otto is looking for a Senior Digital Designer who will work from the Shanghai office, as a part of the company’s fast-growing Digital Services team. The role reports to the Senior Digital Strategist, Karla Otto Asia and manages digital content creative production across high-profile fashion and luxury clients within KO Greater China networks. 

Key responsibilities:

·         Work closely with the Digital Account Team and Fashion clients on the development of the on-going and campaign based content production, activation strategy, engagement mechanics and creative concept based on client project KPIs.

·         Participate regularly in brainstorm session to support Senior Digital Strategist (Head of Karla Otto China Digital Services) on China-based and Global special project proposals and activations based on brief of requirements.

·         Be part of brainstorming sessions to develop innovative engagement mechanics and creative expressions base on brief requirements.

·         Contribute to the design of campaigns on artistic aspects

·         Respond to Supervisors’ requests and inquiries according to the clients needs in a timely manner

·         Contribute to the design of campaigns on artistic aspects

 Requirements:

·          Experience as a Designer/Art Director in an agency

·         Proficiency in all kinds of design software, strong art skills, including but not limited to Adobe suite, Illustrator,  

·         Must be highly familiar with social media platforms and end-to-end content production. Preferred social media experience should include Weibo, WeChat, Facebook and Instagram.

·         Excellence sense of aesthetics especially in fields of fashion, luxury and high-end lifestyle.

·         Good communications skills in both English and Chinese

·         Positive attitude to pursue excellent art quality and strive for award winning creative work.

·         Experience with development of branded social content such as social media posts, videos and/or interactive websites, apps, H5 mini program (highly preferred)

·         Collaborative, resourceful, positive can-do attitude to strive in a fast pace boutique agency environment.
