Ben Sun Erhei Reappointed as Jury President of 2026 the 9th SHIAF Awards
Ben Sun Erhei, CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Havas Creative Group China, will continue to serve as Jury President of 2026 the 9th SHIAF Awards. With his profound industry expertise and international perspective, he will bring professional rigor to the competition and help Chinese advertising creativity gain global recognition.
As a towering figure in China's advertising industry, Ben’s career represents a succession of groundbreaking benchmarks for the field.—he is the first and only domestic creative professional to serve as CEO of an international 4A advertising agency in China. Since joining Havas Group in 2006, he has dedicated nearly two decades to advancing the industry, steering corporate growth while remaining deeply rooted in creative excellence, consistently bridging local creativity with international standards. Under his leadership, Havas China has achieved multiple historic milestones. In 2017, he secured Havas Group China's first-ever Gold Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, breaking through the long-standing barrier for local agencies at top-tier international creative awards; in 2024, the young creative team he meticulously nurtured won Havas China's first-ever Cannes Lions Young Lions Competition World Championship, setting a benchmark for cultivating top-tier young talent and sustaining Havas's competitive edge in nurturing young creative talent.
In terms of industry leadership, he is widely recognized by his peers and has been unanimously elected Chairman and Secretary-General of China 4A (the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of China Advertising Association of Commerce) for four consecutive terms (17th through 20th). With 128 member companies, China 4A encompasses all major international creative marketing agencies operating in China, alongside leading domestic integrated marketing agencies of substantial scale. As a standard-setter and professional leader in China's advertising industry, the organization has consistently driven standardization and high-quality development across the sector. During his tenure, Ben actively championed industry self-regulation, intellectual property protection, and talent development, making significant contributions to the industry's ecosystem.
With his outstanding professional competence and industry influence, Ben is a regular presence on the jury panels of top-tier advertising competitions both domestically and internationally, combining global vision with local insight.
