The Organizing Committee of 2026 The 9th SHIAF Awards has officially confirmed that Tomaz Mok, Founder of MATCH, will continue to serve as Honorary Chairman of this year's competition. With over four decades of deep industry expertise, he will continue to steer creative trends and empower the industry's development.

As a true evergreen in advertising industry, Mr. Mok career stands as a legend. Having devoted over 40 years to advertising industry—including 36 years navigating McCann Worldgroup's global network—he has served as Creative Director across Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, Taiwan, and Mainland  of China. Never ceasing his stride on the dual tracks of creativity and management, he embodies the original aspiration of a seasoned advertising professional through his expertise and dedication.


During his tenure in Asia, he led numerous multinational projects, applying timeless industry wisdom to witness and personally accompany the growth and transformation of brands from both camps: he helped international brands such as Cadillac, Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Descente, FILA, Microsoft, Intel, Mastercard, Nestlé, UPS, and Levi's take root in China and flourish; while also empowering domestic brands including BYD, OPPO, VIVO, UnionPay, Noah Holdings, Lenovo, and Supor to rise, break through, and expand internationally—serving as a vital bridge connecting Chinese and global brands.


In 2017, Mr. Mok joined hands with several young advertising professionals to establish Shanghai MATCH Advertising Co., Ltd. , putting into action his passion for advertising creativity. Adapting to the evolving communication landscape and industry trends, the agency has produced numerous acclaimed and influential advertising campaigns, becoming an industry exemplar that upholds creativity and embraces innovation—a story now celebrated throughout the field.


Beyond frontline practical experience, Mr. Mok professional influence radiates globally: he has served as a jury member for four editions of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity; he is the founder of the Longxi Awards (Global Chinese Advertising Awards); and he concurrently serves as a judge and advisor for multiple domestic and international advertising festivals, providing strategic direction for the industry's development through his professional perspective.


Over the years, he has remained deeply committed to nurturing industry talent, traveling to more than 20 cities nationwide to deliver lectures and training sessions at professional institutions, sharing his industry experience generously and without reservation. He has cultivated new generations of talent for the advertising industry, promoting its healthy development through responsibility and commitment.


In his reappointment as Honorary Chairman of the 9th SHIAF Awards, Mr. Mok will continue to leverage his global vision, practical experience, and industry influence to help build a higher-quality creative exchange platform for the competition. He will drive the alignment of Chinese advertising creativity with international standards, uncover emerging creative forces, and inject new momentum into the innovative development of China's advertising industry.
