BBDO Shanghai in Shanghai is looking for an entry-level English Copywriter.  BBDO Shanghai is part of the global BBDO network which consistently ranks as one of the top advertising agency networks in the world. It’s also a pretty fun place to work.

You will be responsible for:

-          Collaborating with teams in Shanghai’s BBDO offices to create and/or review English copy

-          Brainstorming ideas for new campaigns

-          Working with global teams to adapt worldwide campaigns to local markets

-          Writing English internal communications for clients

You are someone who:

-          Is a native English speaker

-          Has 1-2 years of editorial experience

-          Writes with clarity, imagination and flexibility

-          Has lived in China for a while, and has a good grasp of Chinese culture

-          Feels comfortable both giving and receiving criticism

Previous experience in advertising is not required. Knowledge of Chinese language isn’t essential, but would be helpful.
