· Will be actively in the front-line with clients, serving as the face of the agency’s strategic thinking and consumer insight prowess.
· Will help clients initiate and manage consumer insight programs.
· Will collaborate internally with creative and account management teams to identify insights and strategies that can inspire powerful ideas that help brand fulfill their goals.
· Will help provide focus to teams on how to engage consumers using appropriate consumer touch-points that can magnify ideas in a most powerful and efficient manner in the marketplace.
· Will actively participate in the office’s new business initiatives, contributing winning strategies.
· Will lead and mentor junior planner/s in the office; and systematically partner with agency management to grow the department as the agency continues to grow.
Desired qualities
Looking for ‘Professional Generalists’- candidates who possess an innate curiosity for how things in general work, and often times pursue diverse range of interests and passions outside their field of work or study.
He/ she should also be ‘Compulsive Inventors and Re-inventors’- this person’s natural impulse to any problem – whether in marketing, technology, medicine, or sport- would be to find a new and different approach/ understanding to it.
Finally, they should be tenacious, numerate, hungry to learn and have an intense passion for brands and advertising. Persuasive speaking or writing skills are of course an advantage.
Education background
At least 2+ brand planning experience.
Fluency and proficiency in Chinese and English is a must.
