Job Summary:
The role of Account Executive is mainly to provide key internal and external support to relevant client related activities. Working closely with AD and AM, he or she will ensure quality creative output in a timely manner; assist in project management, cost estimation, creative/production briefing, close coordination with regional, media, and shopper counterparts, and campaign management/analysis.
Account executive should have at least 6 months of AE or project management experience (either as an intern or employee). Given that he/she will be coordinating with regional counterparts, the Account Executive should have good command in both Mandarin and English.
Main responsibilities:
Client Service and Project related
· Establish requirements of brief and work with AD/AM to develop production brief
· Review COF/CAB/CABA and prepare brief clarification based on campaign requirements
· Prepare project timelines and share with all parties, ensuring everyone is aligned with schedules of key milestones
· Manage overall coordination, writing and verbal briefing of internal and external resources as required e.g. creative, production, third party specialists etc.
· Ensure quality output of agency work
· Assist in presenting/selling agency proposals.
· Obtain feedback from client.
· Project implementation and monitor progress against plan
· Prepare weekly WIP reports as required and other documents/materials for internal and external meetings.
· Produce accurate contact reports following any contact with client – give Clients contact reports within 24 hours of meetings.
· Provide Client and Team with feedback on project on a daily/”need-to-know” basis.
· Provide updates to budgets and help Managers ensure timing plans are fully up to date.
· Develop a thorough understanding of each process involved in a project and execute actions required when they arise.
· Ensure that all materials get to markets on time and in the most cost efficient way.
· Flexible, resourceful and has good problem-solving skills.
Non-Project Specific
· Manage client relationship on a day-to-day basis
· Make relevant contribution in areas where you are non-revenue accountable – Brainstorms, Team Meetings, and maintaining the Agency’s image and personality.
Client Relationship
Ensure provision of client services are of a quality consistent with Agency standards, as judged by AM/AD/GAD.
Become the focal point of client contact as judged by the client.
Maintain a close and effective client relationship.
Creative/Production
· Main contact for Creative/Production team
· Ensure creative/production team’s motivation and working processes.
Communication/Presentation
To be able to clearly, comprehensively, and logically present from concepts/proposals to costings.
Demonstrate ability to brief, inform and motivate team members, as judged by AD/AM.
