Senior UX Designer

The Senior Interaction Designer will assist in leading product research, strategy, information architecture development, and interaction design for corporate websites and software applications.

The Contribution:

Conducting user requirements and task analysis, conceptual modeling, information architecture design, interaction design, and      usability testing

Designing user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques

Producing user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, and design prototypes

Communicating research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale verbally and visually

Working closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented

Participating as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, project management, business and brand      strategists, and hardware/software developers

Utilizing an understanding of client business requirements to perform the duties described above

You bring to the organization the following competencies;

At least 3 years related work experience, commercial experience as a user interface designer

Bachelor’s (pref. Master’s) Degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design discipline

In depth knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web- and mobile-based applications      and consumer electronics

Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as AdobeCC, Sketch, InVision, Pixate, and Framer

Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, Fiinto and CSS.

Excellent communication and organization skills. Must be able to  work both on a team and independently

A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with  people

Bilingual in both Chinese and English

Research is preferred. User research, design research, concept validation, user testing.
