OVERVIEW

Manager Business Consulting is responsible for leading business consulting projects and/or business consulting centric tracks on larger programs. He/she is will play a leadership role in developing innovative strategies to improve business performance, client relationships and new business and managing delivery teams.  This individual will work on a broad range of projects to develop business, operating, and IT strategies. This individual should assume the role of the executive client’s trusted advisor for and drive innovative strategies to improve business performance.

You will also be expected to use their unique skills to drive both sales pursuits and strategies, and to analyze and structure complex, long-term contracts with clients and partners.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

§  Create options based business cases and cost/benefit models that capture investment options and present multiple scenarios for returns

§  Present recommendations to clients

§  Lead client interviews and workshops, develop and present solutions and recommendations

§  Lead secondary research, data collection and market/competitor analyses

§  Lead the gathering and prioritization of business requirements based upon business and customer experience needs across areas including operational processes, organisational culture, organization design and their impact on technology capabilities

§  Work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams with user experience, designers, strategists, creatives and technical teammates

§  Manage business-level client relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.) at every stage from Planning and estimation through delivery.

§  Review and manage financial metrics with business level clients

§  Communicate the client’s vision to the internal teams and lead the way

§  Translate Director’s vision, share and engage people in the team

REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

§  At least 8 years relevant experience

§  Proven experience in a transformation role, ideally involving digital strategy or operations - taking companies on the journey from one operational model to another driven by digital technologies, the interactions and customer experiences they enable

§  You understand operational processes, organizational design and organization culture and the role these play in transforming an organization from one state to another

§  Broad knowledge of digital trends and relevance to clients business and operational approaches

§  Creativity with an eye to developing new and innovative solutions

§  Strong problem identification and analytical skills

§  Financial analysis and business case development

§  Cool under pressure and in unpredictable circumstances. Thrive in ambiguous environments, and in informal, loosely structured and creative work environments
