Overview of Job:  
GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Social Operation Business Director/Director to join us.

As the head of the operation team, you need to be responsible for the work team management, efficiency improvement and continuous growth of capabilities for the whole team's social operation. First, hope you are optimistic and positive, curious enough for new social platform trends, social media fans, willing to communicate with people, optimistically in the work, can accept setbacks but do not easily give up. Of course, have the patience in detail will be also important for operation.

We centralize our operational capabilities and bring together the most effective resources to focus on responding to Client's social needs, with the goal of forming a central team improves social operation efficiency, manages resources, accumulate the important experience for the company. As operation leader, you will have a deep impact on the growth of the entire team in the future.

The operations team provides services for group's important clients, cover the various needs of the clients' different brands/product lines. The team helps to provide integration of KOL resource and KOL side business communication, manage the KOL content output of each platform, and study the latest operation knowledge of social platforms.

As the leader, he will face different resource, social platforms, service vendors, data patterners, internal teams, and clients etc. Through communication and collaboration with multiple parties, you should train and lead the team to integrate internal and external resources, optimize smooth cooperation paths, explore the latest and effective ways to play, enhance team cohesion and vitality, and provide clients with the latest and highest quality service capabilities from GroupM Social.

In this Role, Your Goals will be:
In three months:

·       Been familiar with Social products and related process/WOW.

·       Worked out social business standard operation process and give the suggestion for KPI optimization and integration of previous workflows/files.

·       Established good rapport with team members, key person of team in cooperation, windows of social platforms/MCN/vendors, key clients.

·       Sort out the group KOL resources and information, combine the data tools to provide more complete resource suggestions.

In six months:

·       Been at full speed with team management.  

·       Finish the 0ptimization of the WOW of teams with more efficient processes and skills, improve the KOL performance ROI as result.

·       Introduce the latest platform technologies and market capabilities to expand the team's service capabilities accordingly and beyond the areas known to the client.


Responsibilities of the role:

·       Efficiency Improvement:

--Provide suggestions on team structure and optimization for the long-term social operation needs of different brands/product.

--Organize internal working process, information exchange and cooperation mode, reduce work repeatability, strengthen information exchange and cooperation, and improve team work efficiency.

--Establish docking and cooperation relationship with various cooperation teams of the Group, clear window and work cooperation mode.

--Analyzing problems using numbers and data and keep a digital record of the team's work content, metrics, and progress to help the team understand and continuously organize feedback and optimization.

·       Team management

--Formulate team development and promotion strategies according to market demand and team characteristics, make plans and implement them in stages.

--Communicate closely with team and superior to understand and communicate project progress and difficult needs.

--Set periodic (monthly/quarterly) work goals for the team, arrange weekly progress follow-up meetings to track progress, and measure the achievement of work target KPI according to the set.

·       Operating ROI and effectiveness improvement

--Set reasonable team operation optimization target KPI with the partner team and customers and manage to keep the team's work output reaching the target.

·       Platform product/capability introduction and management:

--Communicate regularly with the platform /MCN, participate in the product release, research and discussion, case analysis and other activities organized by the platform /MCN, share information internally, absorb and transform the internal product and service capabilities.

--Cooperate with internal data, technology and planning teams to regularly organize internal sharing and insight on the latest market trends, data, operation methods and platform industry trends.

--Establish a stable symbiotic cooperative relationship with platforms, strengthen the cooperative relationship with mainstream platforms and resources in the market, and maintain the leading team skills.

 

·       效率提升:

o   针对客户不同品牌/产品线的长期社交运营需求提出团队架构与优化建议;

o   梳理团队内部工作流程、信息交互和配合方式,减少工作重复性,强化信息交流配合,提升团队工作效率。

o   与集团各合作团队建立对接和合作关系,清晰窗口,工作配合模式。

o   使用数字和数据分析问题,对于团队的工作内容、指标、进步都有数字化的记录,帮助团队了解并不断组织反馈和优化。

·       团队管理

o   根据市场需求和团队特点制定团队的发展提升策略,制定计划,分阶段实施。

o   与团队和上级保持密切的沟通,了解沟通工作项目进展和困难需求。

o   为团队设定周期性(月度/季度)的工作目标,周定期安排进度跟进会议对进展追踪,并根据设定衡量工作目标KPI的达成情况;

·       运营ROI和效果的提升

o   与合作团队、客户设定合理的团队运营优化目标KPI,管理保持团队的工作产出达标;

·       平台产品/能力引入,管理:

o   定期与平台/MCN进行沟通,参与平台/MCN组织的产品发布、研究讨论、案例分析等活动,内部分享信息,吸收转化为内的产品和服务能力;

o   与内部数据、技术、策划团队合作,定期组织内部关于最新市场趋势、数据、运营方式、平台行业动态的分享和自己的洞察;

o   与平台建立稳定的共生合作关系,强化与市场主流平台和资源的合作关系,保持团队技能的领先;

 

Minimum qualifications:

·       5yr+ working experience in operation/account of MCN/ social platform/ TP agency/media agency/social agency. (prefer the leading companies in China)

·       Have the experience work with MCN/TOP KOL/any TOP KOL spending clients.

·       Have experience in social branding building and KOL (content/live broadcasting) KPI/ROI optimization

·       Rich Experience in managing teams.

·       Excellent written and presentation skills, and familiar with numbers presentation

·       Comfortable with numbers and calculations

·       Interest in performance driven communication solutions and product innovations

·       Have experience with data and/or campaign analytics and insights

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks

·       Native Chinese speaker with fluent spoken and written English
