Overview

This position will play a critical role in managing all executional aspects in the overall delivery of effective operations and be an important part of the Greater China team, driving operational excellence that transcends geography in Mainland China and Hong Kong.

The ideal candidate has a passion for healthcare, enabling technology and the digital media landscape. He/she must possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to ideate and work with diverse teams, and lead teams through change and ongoing innovation.

 

Job Responsibilities                                                                                   

 

Contribute, as a member of both the executive management team and the individual agency leadership teams, to planning, policy making, and long-term management of the agency by providing strategic and tactical direction for day-today operations that are aligned on a global basis.

Develop effective standard operating procedures, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics and ensure adherence to same, for all reporting units and partners.

Prepare and update risk assessment reports and business continuity plans and their incorporation into ongoing operations.

Build, lead and manage a fully functioning operations team, inclusive of program management, resource management, systems management, facilities management and administrative/office services.

Create best-in-class operations and process models (taking in diverse POVs) across the agency, including workflow management, resource planning, campaign execution & delivery and related billings. Drive out efficiency and effectiveness targets as part of day-to-day operations and ongoing innovation.

Working with Resource Management, drive effective and efficient staffing models that allow for quick decision-making and clear communications concerning talent acquisition needs and strategies, as well as drive optimal profitability for the Agency.

Optimize facilities to ensure alignment with flexible business/working models while ensuring the facilities represents and adds to the culture of the evolving agency model.

Partner with Agency President to effectively communicate non-financial performance to all agency personnel.

Partner with CFO/Agency Finance Directors to ensure profitability and identify opportunities for efficiency.

Anticipate evolving client and agency needs, their impact on service requirements and incorporate on an ongoing basis into the operations plan.

In partnership with HR and leadership overall, deliver robust onboarding experiences and ongoing, best practice training across agency disciplines.

Primary contact for troubleshooting and solutions for all operational challenges.

Educate and assist internal/external teams on proper implementation of best practices both internally and with third parties.

Work in tandem with technology leadership (CTO) to ensure best-in-class tools, products and offerings are in use and optimized, and to integrate and onboard new tools.

Proactively communicate with clients and internal teams, locally and globally.

Manage relationships with external vendors to remain educated on industry trends.

Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, supporting new products/business development in the market place.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

BS / BA degree, or equivalent experience.

PM certification preferred

15+ years’ professional work experience with emphasis in multi-channel delivery.

10+ years of team management experience. Demonstrated expertise in building, developing and coaching high-performing teams.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritize workload and exercise time management skills.

Superior leadership skills; demonstrated ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports, peers and senior management.

Proven skill at delivering best in class operations and process models.

Solid financial understanding and experience – P&L, pricing, contracts, bidding, KPI/metrics.    

Strong technology skills – strategic and practical – inclusive of production management systems.
