Be the lead of projects assigned and support Snr. CD in maintaining creative direction and goals for projects, ensuring they meet client objectives in bringing the communication to life, whilst maintaining the brand’s truth.
Brainstorm visual and copy ideas with members of the creative team.
Provide creative direction and guidance to one or more mid-level to junior level creatives to deliver the work.
Develop creative strategies across categories, in conjunction with the client category teams and the ability to organize, present ideas in a clear manner.
Generate connecting and innovative ideas across multiple channels that can maximize consumer engagement.
Be the guardian of the brand essence and tonality.
Actively participate in Agency creative initiatives, with the support of Snr. CD.
Coach, foster learning and excellence for junior members of the team; motivate and empower them to develop greater crafting skills.
Work closely with the Account Management team to grow existing business organically by exceeding clients’ expectations
Keep up to date with new trends, technologies, rapidly evolving cultural and social trends to ensure our clients benefit from ideas relevant to the target audience and improved creative output
Champion McCann culture, values and way of working amongst team members.
This role reports directly to the Senior CD.
Strong conceptual and strategic directions with excellent creative & aesthetic judgement; the ability to ensure that the creative output is consistently excellent from a conceptual and executional perspective, across all platforms.
Experiences on video (long or short form), print and digital content execution is an absolute must and some understanding of Integrated Marketing Communication, specifically on experiential and digital content communication.
Attentiveness to visual detail and finesse, with compelling and immaculate visual crafting is a must.
Ability to understand client business and help clients to reach their objectives
Able to inspire and win the support of both the creative department and account services/partnership teams and clients
The aptitude to confidently make timely and sound decisions, sometimes under pressure.
Effective communicator with strong presentation skills and client relation skills.
Visionary and ambitious with the ability to articulate thinking and ideas.
Innate flair for current trends and pop-culture would be ideal.
