Introduction

We focus on exploring how modelling and deep learning methods can be used to analyze sequences of customer interactions, and how the insights gained from such analysis can be used for budget optimization through modelling & AI solutions.

Duties of this role will include requirement gathering, design, development, optimization, testing and implementation.

The candidate should have a solid understanding of statistical concept and a proven project experience especially on data processing, Modelling; have the basic knowledge how to apply the AI technology into modelling to improve effectiveness.

The candidate also should be an excellent team player with basic media knowledge, considerable creative flare, boundless energy and strong interpersonal skills who can collaborate effectively with buddy teams.

About the role

We are seeking a modelling/AI specialist for WaveMake SH Product team, who will be dedicated to core products development.

There are two key elements to this role:

1)    Contribute to Command Center development: the candidate will focus on one separate “AI Optimization” module development in Command Center, that provides AI functionality to automatically produce multiple predictive results or conclusions for the Advertisers, at incredible speed, unlocking new behavioural, content or channel insights;

2)    Contribute to Budgeting with Modelling development: the candidate will take participate in Market Mix Modelling projects delivery and purify the opinions or design for modelling product.

You will be responsible for:

Core Products Development

·         Define and develop “AI Optimization” module in Command Center by working together with development lead from multiple functions and business units.

·         Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen.

·         Participate in Market Mixture Modelling project delivery, and relevant tools development.

·         Participate in Budgeting with Modelling product development (similar to Athena).

·         Focus on the sales or journey model deliverables by using MMM solution.

·         Troubleshooting, debugging, etc.

AI solution contribution

·         Act as key AI solution provider for internal training or quick demos in business development.

·         Pay attention to the latest development of the AI industry, provide feedback and suggestions to Product team.

No special need for the candidates on domestic or international travel for the purpose of this role.

Management & Reporting:

·         You will directly report into the AI & Modelling lead in Product team.

Key skills and capabilities

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with at least 4 years of in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or Robotic; media industry background preferred, but also open to the industries of healthcare, energy, automotive and finance etc.

·         1 year’s hands-on experience in machine learning such as statistical learning, deep learning.

·         Able to program in Python and/or R.

·         Have extensive knowledge of the Statsmodels or lmer4.

·         Processing/Understanding(NLP/NLU).

·         Proven analytical, communication skills and be a good team player.
Plus:

·         Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch or MXNet.
