Responsibilities:

§  Manage and direct the creative concept development on all levels and channels

§  Understand and work with the given strategy and brief

§  Close collaboration with creative teams, account and strategists in Shanghai as well as other Spark44 offices to develop the “big ideas”.

§  Create concepts that are relevant for China but also for the rest of the world.

§  Lead and challenge others to rise far above the expected, every time

§  Provide strategic leadership, and guide teams in mastering creative solutions for clients

§  Ensures all creative concepts are aligned with strategy

§  Continually seek opportunities/ways to creative concepts to overcome client obstacles and /or realize opportunities

§  Appropriately interpret and apply market and product knowledge into creative concepts

§  Lead the team when creative is presented to global clients.

§  Develop close working relationships and leadership positions with clients and vendors/producers/partners

§  Lead productions both national and international

§  Partner with your team and the teams in other offices to create powerful unified ideas

§  Understand trends, consumer insights and the brand direction.

§  Motivate, mentor and coach junior creative staff but also account and strategy. Contribute to agency growth and culture

Person Specification:

§  MA or BA in any relevant creative course

§  7+ years agency

§  Automotive or luxury experience strongly preferred

§  Demonstrated thought leadership and creative skills: cases studies with significant business results

§  Experience in multichannel marketing

§  Outstanding verbal and oral communication skills. Must be able to write or visualize simply and persuasively

§  Outstanding presentation skills

§  Excellent interpersonal skills – listening, coaching, mentoring, explaining difficult concepts in simple language, and ability to relate and play well with others

§  Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

§  Passion and empathy for the consumer’s perspective

§  Passionate about getting others involved and having fun along the way
