Strategic Intention
The Business Director (BD) role is managerial, but also one of agency leadership. This individual owns teams and his or her responsibility extends from complete oversight of their assigned clients, to staff management/development to profit and loss (P/L) management. The BD provides strategic leadership, understands all aspects of their clients’ business and is deeply involved in the future offerings of clients.

SCOPE AND IMPACT OF JOB
Lead and nurture the client services team to provide the very highest levels of client servicing. To build strong client relationships at the highest level and help identify and convert new business opportunities,
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Education and Experience:
3~5 years experience in related industry
Strong account management of FMCG/ personal care brands;
Fluent English and native Chinese skills;
Proven experience working in similar role which involved independent client liaison and management
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proven leadership ability – have managed a team of Account Directors
High EQ (emotional IQ)
Be a proactive self-starter
Demonstrable experience in managing clients
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Resourceful, with proven problem-solving skills
Have strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once
Strong commercial edge

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leads a group of accounts.
2. Uses their relationships and market knowledge to help clients to reframe their business objectives.
3. Seek opportunities to maximize account/s revenue through the addition of profitable services.
4. Has delivered returns from client relationships beyond those expected.
5. Has influenced clients to adopt marketing solutions that were outside of their initial concept.
6. Has transformed their own account management teams, and contributed to the development of high performing teams in other areas of the business.
7. Synthesizing the competitive environment and clients’ business objectives to challenge their needs and objectives.
8. Developing networks of relationships within the client organizations.
9. Combining an understanding of the clients’ business, competitive environment and thought leadership to provide unexpected outcomes.
10. Providing exposure to, learning from, and hiring individuals with, cross-agency disciplines.
11. Developing client insight into, and acceptance of, integrated solutions.
12. Providing tangible business and individual goals that energize working relationships.
13. Putting in place contractual relationships that are mutually beneficial to the client and HumanCare.
14. Identifying opportunities to up-sell disciplines not included in the scope of work.
15. Responding to revenue and cost forecast to deliver budgeted profit.
16. Leading preparation and delivery of profitable pitches.
